We were thrilled to work on some more action – this time in a situation where we were finally able to give both the orchestra and synthesis a spin!
Apollo is a first person – action packed – multiplayer shooter where you – the player – has to escape a spaceship in the year 2432 – Battle Royale style.
In short:
Welcome to the year 2432. You are stuck on a spaceship and life-support is failing after a stray asteroid hit. All you can think of is your family back at Ethi-Prime, however, there’s only a couple of escape pods. Clearly not enough for all of you to make it out! To your left; a glass case with a rifle in case of a pirate attack. Without second thoughts you break it – Will you make it to the escape pod and see your family again?
State of the game:
This game is currently in development and expected to release late 2022.
Music:
When it comes to music, well, you guessed it, we relied on synths and strings! Have a listen to a few cues (there’s plenty more where that came from)!
Sounddesign, ambience and implementation:
We created (and are sometimes still creating) a ton of assets – and implemented them directly in unreal. Have a listen to some examples:
